Paul Chumbley Volunteers at TJ Middle School

Attorney Paul Chumbley, of Hargadon Lenihan and Herrington PLLC, volunteered at TJ Middle School this week as part of an initiative during National Youth Violence Prevention Week.  Paul and a  group of nearly 100 men spent part of the day teaching students how to tie neckties.  Approximately 1,000 ties were donated for the 500 students who participated in this year’s event.

A school administrator commented on how proud the students are when they have the opportunity to interact with the adults and learn simple tips for better self-esteem.

As Louisville’s oldest, plaintiff’s injury law firm, we’re proud of our community involvement.  Over the years we’ve always tried to give back to a city that’s been an excellent place for us to live, raise families and build a practice based on helping others.

By taking time to speak with the young students and teaching them a useful skill, each volunteer at this annual event has the chance to demonstrate what it means to be a positive role model.

The HLH team encourages others to join our efforts to improve our Louisville community.  Our firm is build on the core focus of helping others.  Whether that means handling negotiations for a car wreck, aggressively litigating against trucking companies in the courtroom, or consoling families after a spouse, parent or child has been a victim of a wrongful death, we know we’re at our best when we’re helping others.

We’ve build a reputation for being a team of trial lawyers who handle complex injury cases across Kentucky and Indiana.  It’s what we do.  At the same time, we’re the same people you’ll see at Kroger, heading to a weekend movie, or cheering at a local game.  We’re part of this community, and we’re proud of it.

Thanks to Paul for continuing to demonstrate the commitment Hargadon, Lenihan and Herrington has to Louisville, the place we call home.
